Abstract:
As cost and environmental pressures persist, the search for efficient, quick, precise plastics joining alternatives continues to grow. Adhesives can often miss the mark when it comes to meeting the requirements necessary to control costs and environmnental impact. Extol will describe many recent technical advancements in the infrared staking/welding processes.
We will discuss:
- Assembly Methods: Strengths and Weaknesses
- Common Polymers
- Keys to succss of Thru-Transmission IR
- Product Design
- Equipment
- Validation
Intended audience: Medical Device R&D, Designers, Molders, Manufacturing Engineers, Cost Reduction Specialists
