Abstract:
Cosmos-Kabar has developed and patented an automated output control technology to insure accurate and repeatable radio frequency (RF) welding results. We accomplished this by combining the speed and versatility of programmable logic controllers (PLC's) with 60+ years' experience in building RF welding equipment. Our process constantly monitors the instantaneous energy absorbed by the load, and automatically adjusts the output as necessary. Every thermoplastic material and weld requirement is different.
