Abstract:
Packaging films have become more colorful and chemically sophisticated than ever, which has created new challenges for plastic recyclers. Processing material with considerable amounts of ink and other additives create gases which result in poor quality resins. After extensive research and development EREMA has developed the TVEplus, a recycling system which unites high-performance degassing, thorough melt homogenization and the possibility to achieve ultra-fine filtration. The TVEplus allows plastic recyclers the ability to transform their heavily printed waste into the valuable, near virgin quality pellets, typical of EREMA systems' production.
Erema's unique new "TVE PLUS" facilitates a better processing of heaviliy printed films allowing for the use of the recyclate back into films with less evidences of gels/fish-eyes. With the addition of the new " ecoSave " configuration this allows at the same time lower energy cost / carbon footprint.
Intended audience: Manufacturers, Recyclers, and Converters
