Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology

Booth 116

The multi-sensor measuring system increases efficiency during the inspection of small and complex parts. Operators can alternate between optical and contact measurements without interrupting the CNC measuring run. O-INSPECT is ideal for the measuring lab and production. O-INSPECT was developed specifically for the quality assurance and initial sampling of small, complex parts in the plastics and medical industries, automobile technology and precision mechanics. This measuring machine unites high flexibility with highly reproducible results – through proven ZEISS scanning technology and ZEISS optics – in one measuring run and one setting.

Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology

Booth 116

The safety of patients in the operating room and critical care must be ensured. Doctors must be able to rely on their technology and instruments. The F25 coordinate measuring machine (CMM) from Carl Zeiss, which was developed for the quality assurance of micro-parts, plays a key role. It permits contact scanning with very high resolution, as well as optical 2D measurements of features and structures that cannot be touched. CALYPSO® CAD-based measuring software supports users during programming, measuring and documenting.

Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology

Booth 116

With a new member in the METROTOM® family, Carl Zeiss is once again setting standards in CT-based coordinate measuring technology: The METROTOM 800 computer tomograph was specifically developed for 3D measurements and structural inspections of complex parts made of plastic, composite materials and ceramic. With the help of metrotomography® – the combination of metrology and tomography – this measuring system enables both the dimensional measurement of the geometry and the inspection of the interior structure of parts up to 150 millimeters. Carl Zeiss thus fulfills the expectations on extensive quality assurance of the manufacturers and users of such parts.

Certified Comparator Products (CCP)

Booth 543

The CC-14 advances comparator illumination technology with three all-LED light sources. Each light source provides variable intensity illumination. TruLight™ LED illuminators include a standard high-brightness monochromatic green LED profile light. The CC-14 also features the new digital electronic overlay package, eCAD™. Straight from the CAD model, see critical areas of the part as eCAD allows the digital CAD file on the screen to follow the movements of the measuring stage. The other features on the CC-14 are ImageCapture™ for capturing still and video images, EdgeScan™ for internal automatic edge detection, and eChek™ software for measuring 2D parts.

Certified Comparator Products (CCP)

Booth 543

The CC-14L features the world's first TruLight™ all-LED illumination, including a standard high-brightness monochromatic green LED profile light that provides variable intensity and lights that last the lifetime of the comparator. CC-14L is a rugged optical comparator providing a 14” diameter vivid, easy-to-view screen to easily measure images of any part. Keep the standard 10X mag lens and optional mag lenses safe and ready to use with the convenient internal lens rack.

CGI Inspection

Booth 208

CGI Inspection, developer and manufacturer of the most technologically advanced three dimensional measurement devices in the world, will be demonstrating the Pearl-700, a desktop 3D scanning and inspection system. The Pearl-700 can significantly reduce the time and expense usually needed to digitize, measure and qualify parts from injection molding tools. This system uses CGI's proprietary Spec.Check software to establish cross-sections through the 3D point cloud, which is ideal for first article inspection of small complex parts with internal features that can't be seen or measured using conventional technology. The Pearl-700 provides cutting edge accuracy at an affordable price.

Comco Inc.

Booth 317

Comco's AccuFlo® abrasive blaster is an ideal tool for finishing medical devices such as implants, needles and guide wires. Micro-abrasive blasting has been used to selectively remove silicone insulation to expose an electrical conductor on defibrillators. It can also remove excess encapsulation material from cardiac pacemakers. It is used to remove dross on laser cut stents and deburr bone screws.

Contract Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (CMSI)

Booth 344
