Air Products’ new PolarFit™ ultra-fine-grinding mill provides a cost-effective way to reduce hard-to-grind materials to smaller particle sizes than can be achieved with conventional impact mills. Through a combination of size reduction mechanisms ―- including impact, attrition and particle-particle -― this unique grinding system generates consistent yields of particles between 45 and 240 microns, and in some cases as small as 10 microns. Available globally, the mill efficiently uses liquid nitrogen for cryogenic size reduction of a wide range of materials, including pigments, plastics, powder coatings, thermoplastic elastomers, waxes, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, spices and other food products.

The CentriFeeder™ is actually both a controlled feed device and a mass flow measurement device in a single multi-functioning unit. Designed to accurately measure and control the flow of any dry, free‐flowing solid, the CentriFeeder™ utilizes an integrated Servo to establish a PID control loop to control the ICV feeding our patented CentriFlow® Meter.
