ASACLEAN PX is a glass-filled grade offering a service temperature range of 270°C - 420°C. The PX Grade is suitable to purge "super-engineering resins" such as PEEK, PPS, Ultem, and LCP from thermoplastic injection molding machines and extruders. The 994 Hydra systems overcome many of the issues encountered with other commonly used in-mold labelling technologies and because of this the purchase and running costs are reduced significantly. The standard 994 Hydra systems consists of resistively coupled distributors connected in parallel to the new 994 IML generator. Apex RE-8003 is a high-impact rigid vinyl compound for profiles that complies with the most rigorous UL-94 classification for flame performance while yielding finely detailed structures and the smooth, clean finish required in many interior applications. The compound has achieved the most stringent UL-94 flammability classification—5VA—at a test sample thickness lower than for any other rigid profile compound. While the lowest wall thickness thus far has been 1.5 mm, Apex RE-8003 passed the test at 0.9 mm.
