DigiNip® is an economical hand-held device that transforms the way nip measurements are obtained for small coating, laminating, printing, and production rollers. With DigiNip® even a first-time user can instantly and precisely measure spot nip (the contact point between rollers) at any section of a web or sheet fed process. When the unit's two durable sensor elements are placed between two contacting rollers that are subjected to pressure, nip width readings are immediately displayed on the device. Real-time roller adjustments for parallelism can then be made quickly and conveniently while the sensors are in the nip.

Fujifilm Prescale® is a tactile pressure indicating sensor film that is used to assess and correct sealing die pressure at the interface between sealing jaws and rollers to reveal potential weak spots, channels and wrinkles at the actual heat sealing surface. When placed between contacting surfaces, Prescale® instantaneously changes color proportional to the actual pressure applied. When removed, precise pressure magnitude is determined by comparing the resultant color intensity on the film to a color correlation chart. It is flexible, conforms to straight and curved surfaces, and can be hand or laser cut to any size and shape.

The Tactilus® Heat Sealing Pressure Mapping System is a portable sensor pad and software system that maps and measures surface pressures between contacting rollers or platens to reveal and help the user correct critical pressure distribution problems that compromise package integrity. Pressure readings are captured in real time as the sealing surfaces make contact.
