Coming in 2011:

![]() Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. We participated in the exhibit for the first time, with the objective of gaining more exposure in the healthcare industry. We were surprised to see an impressive turnout of visitors as well as the extensive content of MEDTEC. Over the course of the two-day event, we were able to stimulate the interest of many visitors, not only in our company but also in our UV curing devices. Besides the exposure we received, we were able to gather information and generate good sales leads in the medical industry. Though the event was somewhat brief, our participation was very productive. We had an impression that the scale of the event would grow to lead the medical industry in Japan. ![]() Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. This was our second participation in MEDTEC, following the prior year's event. Under our two significant corporate themes—MEDICAL Channel and PLA (PolyLactic Acid) Channel—our exhibit showcased injection molding demonstrations and panel/sample displays, drawing more visitors. With a 170% increase from the year before, the exhibit was a great success. Particularly, we introduced our "PLA injection molding system," in which heat-resistant PLA is used to mold deep containers. MEDTEC gave us an opportunity to roll out this new product in the plastic industry. The product drew keen interest and inquiries from various sectors, assuring us that the event was a valuable promotional avenue. ![]() Fasotec Co., Ltd. We participated in this event with a one-unit space. During the event, however, we received an overwhelming number of visitors, and our booth was continuously packed with people. Our visitors were very enthusiastic, and we received numerous questions and comments of interest regarding our3-D printers. We are currently considering an expansion of our exhibit space for the next event so that all visitors can take their time in reviewing our products. ![]() NIPPON TOKUSHUKAN MFG. Co., Ltd. Though it was our first participation in MEDTEC, we were able to promote our products and technologies to people from various industries who heretofore had limited knowledge of our company. We received numerous inquiries and proposals, and it was an excellent place for us to gather information on the medical industry as well. So, our participation was worthwhile. It is our hope that, with continued participation in MEDTEC, our interaction with entities in various fields will deepen, leading to the expansion of our product markets. We look forward to the next event, MEDTEC 2011. ![]() Heraeus Medical Components The 2010 MEDTEC event brought more visitors to our booth than we had at the previous year's event, and it gave us opportunities to engage in more specific business discussions. The medical material division of Heraeus enjoyed opportunities to meet with medical device manufacturers as well as material suppliers, making the event a very productive one. We look forward to participating in next year's event. ![]() Tyco Electronics Japan K.K. This year's MEDTEC proved to be a very fruitful exhibit for Tyco Electronics. It was our second participation in the event, following MEDTEC China 2008. The number of sales leads generated from highly qualified visitors exceeded our expectations, and we became convinced of the success of MEDTEC Japan 2010. In order to grow our business we will take full advantage of the sales leads obtained at the event, and will fully draw on the success of this year's event. We have received an invitation to the next year's event, noting the expansion of its scale, and expectations are already mounting. ![]() Cybernet Systems Co., Ltd. Our company provides 3-D CAD-related solutions mainly to manufacturers. However, for the first time we were able to introduce our "tolerance analysis tool"—which has drawn a great deal of attention from various industries— at a medical device trade show. We were pleasantly surprised by the larger-than-expected number of visitors currently utilizing 3-D CAD, and were able to meet with medical device manufacturers and R&D staff who had previously been unknown to us. Improvement in the quality of medical devices is a global proposition, and we had the impression that people were truly able to see the significance of proper tolerance settings and analyses. Our company is looking forward to the chance to make a presentation at the next latest technology forum. ![]() UNION TOOL CO. It was our first participation in a trade show for the medical industry. Though the two-day event was held during the week, it enjoyed a large crowd of visitors, making the exhibit an enormous success. We encountered a significant number of visitors from other fields who were considering the possibility of entering the medical device industry, and we became convinced of the significant growth potential of the medical device market. At this event, we presented our precision tools and measurement devices to visitors. With further input from medical-related industries, we will develop and market products suitable for the healthcare industry. ![]() ARAKI MANUFACTURING Co., Ltd. It was our first participation in the event. We made the very best use of our time, establishing contacts with numerous customers in industries related to medical devices. In fact, more than 300 people visited our booth, thus surpassing our projections. Particularly at the latest technology forum, our presentation was attended by a crowd that exceeded that of the hall, and there was a considerable amount of positive response. We were assured of the possibility of further broadening our efforts to market "vacuum and pneumatic molding" in fields related to medical devices. Since our newly acquired customers have given us an opportunity to enter the market, the expectations for our company's growth are high indeed. ![]() JMC Inc. It was our first time participating in a trade show for the medical industry. In the midst of a prolonged recession spanning the economic landscape, the robustness of the medical industry was evident in the large number of foreign corporate exhibitors as well as the excellence of the booths. Our company specializes in manufacturing kits for the improvement of manual dexterity skills using realistic models of skeletons and organs. Through conversations with visitors at the event, our confidence in the future of our products was enhanced. ![]() Solton Co., Ltd. It was our second participation in MEDTEC. The event was first introduced to us by our overseas supplier, who informed us that MEDTEC had an extensive record overseas. Designers from various medical device manufacturers visited our booth, enabling us to provide information while learning about the current needs. Because ours is a trading company specializing in connectors, the event was an excellent opportunity to share various overseas applications and business achievements. Some felt that this kind of specialized event would be hard to find, but our suggestion is that participation in this event should be solicited from medical device manufacturers as well. ![]() Alex Corporation Our company, having been so impressed with the success of the first MEDTEC Japan held last year, decided to participate in the second edition of the event. Though the overall scale was small compared to that of MEDTEC Europe, the number of visitors and contents of the event far exceeded our expectations, and we have been very pleased with the outcome. We welcomed a large number of visitors who were engaged in day-to-day business operations at major corporations in medical-related fields, and as a result we have received many, highly specific inquiries. We look forward to further expansions of the event for next year and beyond. ![]() BLAST Our company has to date been an industrial supplier of glass heaters, the mainstay in our product line. However, as part of an effort to expand our products’ applications to more specialized fields, we participated in the exhibit. The number of visitors we welcomed was far above our expectations, and with visitors making specific business inquiries, it was a big success. We found out that glass heaters are still relatively unknown in the field, and direct feedback from the target market will be very helpful in our future efforts to promote sales. Generally, our development agenda rarely comes to the surface in specialized fields. However, at this event we had the opportunity to approach targeted manufacturers, so it was very significant that our company was able to participate. ![]() Cendres + Métaux SA We were first-time exhibitors at MEDTEC Japan 2010 and our experience was most positive. The attendees showed high interest in our micromechanical products made out of precious metals and titanium as well as our general contractor services from engineering to packaging. In spite of the fact that most of the attendees were not fluent in English and required the support of our Japanese translator, their skills and competences in the field eased, to a large extent, the communication difficulties. During these two extensive days, long term contacts with key players from the Japanese market were established. ![]() ACME MONACO ASIA PTE LTD The trade show is certainly a great platform for MEDTEC development in Japan and its neighboring countries. This year, we experienced an increase in inquiries from non-medical companies who are planning to diversify into the MEDTEC arena. This, indeed, shows good potential for MEDTEC expansion and a promising indicator for the industry. I believe the show will continue to push the MEDTEC envelope further. ![]() SteriPack Asia Sdn Bhd Excellent!!! We met many customers and received many inquiries. We will be there again next year. |
