October 25, 2011–The Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) program is accepting entries for its 2012 competition from companies and individuals worldwide involved in the design, engineering, manufacture, or distribution of finished medical devices or medical packaging products. September 27, 2011–International event organizer UBM Canon has announced plans to produce an advanced design and manufacturing event of co-located and synergistic trade shows and conferences November 14-15, 2012 in Montreal's Palais des Congrès Convention Centre.

The event is patterned upon UBM Canon's successful inaugural and biennial Canadian event this past June in Toronto, which attracted nearly 7,000 industry professionals and is already rebooked for 60% of its exhibit space in 2013. (more...)

July 28, 2011–UBM Canon has announced that it will produce the Pharmapack North America conference and exhibition May 22-23, 2012 in Philadelphia's PA Convention Center. The technology-focused conference and exhibition, which focuses upon innovation in packaging technology and drug delivery systems to enhance health product safety, is the counterpart of the company's highly successful show in Paris, France.
