Flexible thin film circuit boards. Cicor Microelectronics, part of the Cicor Group, has many years of experience in manufacturing thin film circuits using a wide range of substrate materials. As well as standard circuits on rigid substrate materials, more and more products have been developed for the medical technology sector using flexible substrates. These range from the most simple electrodes for monitoring specific biological parameters, to substrates for catheter applications, to complex circuits for retinal implants. Special features here include the possibility of realizing multilayer circuits with high resolution structures, and metallization systems that are suitable for direct use in various assembly and connection techniques.
