Join the Midwest’s Leading Electronics Manufacturing Event
CANON COMMUNICATIONS LLC and IPC–Association Connecting Electronics Industries® join to present the largest event of its kind in the Midwest. The new collaboration combines IPC’s Midwest Conference & Exhibition, previously held in Schaumburg, and Canon’s Electronics Midwest show. As part of the overall event, a technical conference, professional development courses, and standards development meetings will be produced by IPC to run concurrently with the exhibition.
The #1 Market for Electronics Manufacturing
- The Midwest remains the heart of U.S. manufacturing and is the nation’s fastest growing electronics manufacturing marketplace.

Show Features
Technical Conference
IPC will present a renowned technical conference where attendees can take
advantage of new research and process innovations from key industry leaders
in the areas of printed board fabrication and design and electronics assembly.
Past topics include advanced packaging, lead-free quality and reliability, new
substrates and materials, new environmental compliance challenges including
REACH and RoHS, embedded components, and more.
IPC will also present professional development courses and standards
development meetings during the event.
EASi Line
The ever-popular Electronics Assembly Suppliers’ Initiative (EASi Line), a
key feature of Electronics Midwest, will again be showcased. The EASi Line
demonstrates practical solutions and hot new technologies from many of the
show’s exhibitors. Attendees looking for ideas on implementing new technologies
and new equipment for their electronics assembly operations will leave with an
actual working product.
BONUS MEDICAL: The co-located Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Midwest event will deliver bonus medical attendees. MD&M Midwest targets 40,000 medical design and manufacturing professionals that do not attend any other MD&M event. Exhibitors will now be able to connect with these Midwest medical device and equipment producers. Plus, running concurrently with the MD&M Midwest show is a comprehensive technical program attended by key decision-makers from the Midwest’s leading medical device and equipment producers.
