ATX was launched by UBM Canon in the U.S. in 2005 to be the automation feature of the overall co-located events produced in various regions throughout the U.S. Exhibitors in this show include suppliers of custom automation equipment and components, robotics, motion control/vision inspection, quality control equipment/services, and related components and services. Attendees are manufacturing engineers and managers, automation engineers and managers, quality control specialists from industries including medical, solar, energy, aerospace, industrial equipment, food & beverage, pharma, and cosmetics/personal care, among others.

Canada's premier event for advanced design and manufacturing professionals. Design & Manufacturing Canada will be the primary resource for Canada's OEM markets. Exhibitors provide the software, raw materials, manufacturing equipment, components, subassemblies, and contract services used to design and produce finished OEM products and parts. Feature pavilion zones include CAD/CAM/Rapid Prototyping and Contract Manufacturing. Attendees are design engineers, manufacturing engineers and managers, process engineers and managers, and corporate managers from industries including medical, solar, energy, industrial equipment, metals, aerospace, and instrumentation, among others.
