Press facilities at Messe Stuttgart during MEDTEC Europe, DesignMed Europe and SüdTec.

Press Accreditation

Please register as a member of the press. Procedure: Please send an email to our PR assistant Manuela Gleixner: info@kk-pr.de, mentioning your contact details and magazine/publication. Upon arrival you can pick up your badge at the press check-In desk at the registration area. The press badge gives access to the fair and related activities. In general, the badge also entitles you to attend conferences and seminars held in conjunction with the fair. However, it is advisable to check this in the press office beforehand.

Opening Hours of the Press Office

The press office is located on the first floor in room 4.2 at the front of Hall 4. The press office opens at the same time as the show.

Press Conference

The press conference takes place on the first day, 13 March 2012 in the ICS room C7.1. It starts at 11:30am and lasts till approximately 12:00pm. Lunch will be provided after the conference.

Speakers from UBM Canon will present a brief overview of facts and figures on MEDTEC Europe and the co-located shows DesignMED Europe and SüdTec in Stuttgart. 

Parking Facilities

Please take a look at the floor plan for the location of the various car parks. Parking vouchers will be available for the press at the press office.

Working Facilities

The facilities in the press office (room 4.2) will include one computer (with Internet access) and a printer. There will also be a wall unit containing press information supplied by the show’s organiser and exhibitors. You can leave valuable equipment such as cameras and portable computers for safekeeping at the cloakrooom (with attendants) at the lower level on the east entrance. For security reasons you cannot leave any of your items overnight.

Illustrative Material

Color photographs will be taken at all the co-located shows. These photos will be published on the website where you can download them. Or contact our press officer Peter Klingauf if you have specific requests.

You are allowed to take your own pictures of the show and the various events. Please present your press badge to the security officer upon request. As for taking pictures of products at stands, we urge you to ask permission from the exhibitor first.
