Nowadays, variable frequency drives often serve in mission-critical process control applications, and when they go down, they can bring production lines to a standstill. Our engineers have recently taken steps to eliminate an oft-overlooked weak link in drive reliability.
They have developed a new cable that creates extremely robust power connections between VFDs and motors. Called ÖLFLEX® VFD XL, this shielded motor cable offers mechanical and electrical properties beyond those offered by standard AWG motor cables.
ÖLFLEX® VFD XL has UL and CSA TC approvals. Recommended applications include VFD drive and motor connections for web presses, HVAC systems, conveyors and many other types of industrial machines.
Like all Lutze DRIVEFLEX® VFD cables, the new A219 series with 3 symmetrical grounds is designed with flexibility in mind for easy routing and stripping & handling. The main benefit of the 3 symmetrical ground design is to reduce stray currents in the motor shaft and bearings, thus extending the life time of the motor. Other features include low capacitance for long cable runs, 2000V UL listed "Flexible VFD and Servo Cable" for code compliance and dual layer shield with foil and braid combination for improved EMC compliance. It is recommended for industrial applications where only the best quality is acceptable and an investment for safety and motor life time is a priority.

Sealant Equipment & Engineerings Servo-Flo® 801-HV is a positive-rod displacement, two-component meter-mix dispensing system to apply small precision beads and small metered shots of precisely mixed resins such as epoxies, polyurethanes, silicones and acrylics. The servo-motor design provides consistent and repeatable bead profiles.
The Servo-Flo 801-HV can vary the flow rate during dispensing in automation and robotic processes. The control accepts material profiles or dispense commands from the automation. The system is fed by pumps or tanks and includes supply pumps or tanks and a mix-dispense valve designed for long life in high-cycle dispensing applications.
