Servometer/Precision Mfg. Group LLC

Booth 231

Servometer® - PMG, LLC, has perfected the design and manufacture of highly reliable, precision electrodeposited micro miniature metal bellows, in diameters as small as .020 inch (0.5 mm). Standard material is electrodeposited nickel alloy. Gold, silver, copper, or combinations thereof are available as either a surface finish or base metal.

Ideal for dynamic sealing applications where reliability and long life are critical requirements, Servometer bellows can be designed for a variety of stroke and pressure combinations and for temperatures from -423°F to +350°F, and can be used as miniature pressure responsive devices, micro-seals, precision springs, electrical contacts or flexible micro couplings.

Smalley Steel Ring Co.

Booth 333

Smalley offers new Hoopster Retaining Rings. Hoopster rings fit into shallower grooves than regular snap rings or retaining rings. Their low profile, precision circularity and small radial size allow it to be an unobtrusive component in an assembly. Hoopster Rings are suitable for light to heavy loads and are ideal for thin wall tubes. An additional advantage is its potential for high thrust capacity. The low radial profile will not twist or deform under load as with conventional retaining rings. Easily installed without special tools, standard sizes are stocked from 3/8" to 3" and offered in carbon and 302 stainless steel.

Solid Concepts Inc.

Booth 301

ID-Light™ is a trademarked technology only offered by Solid Concepts and is excellent for non-structural appearance models. This light weight SLA product is created with a proprietary laser scanning pattern such that a thin outer shell (about 0.030 to 0.040") is used to encase a drainable inner scaffolding-like matrix. ID-Light™ parts are significantly lighter (1/5th to 1/12th depending on geometry), build faster, and cost less than solid SLA parts. ID-Light has received excellent acceptance for large appearance models, furniture, entertainment models, art, and architecture. Furthermore, its hard outer shell offers a better paint surface than 10 and 20 lb foam.
