Diversified Plastics, Inc's (DPI) injection molded plastic parts are out of this world—literally. DPI was awarded the contract to mold plastic parts for NASA's Juno spacecraft, which is on its way to Jupiter. Because of DPI's expertise with molding difficult materials, it was chosen to overmold aluminum rings from PEEK, a high performance resin. DPI is an injection molder of high-precision, close tolerance, components for aerospace, avionics, medical devices, and a variety of other industrial markets. The 35-year-old company is a full-service injection molder, from design assistance and mold construction, to intricate molding and clean room assembly.
