Don’t know about you but I for one am really intrigued by the new “bite-size” format for some of the thought leadership content, debuting at the upcoming MD&M West conference. Not that there’s anything wrong with in-depth and often day-long tracks and workshops but, let’s face it, they do tend to restrict the amount of time one has for discovering all of the new technologies in the concurrent exposition.
Now registrants can choose from among eight “MedTech Innovate Seminars”–each a two-hour module priced at $250–to create their own customized eduction program. The great thing is that they can network with their peers, meet face-to-face with expert speakers, take away practical insights into the trends that will drive the next generation of device development, and still have time for a meaningful swing through the expo.
Check out the lineup of seminars over at the MD&M West website and be sure to post your comments on both the topics and the new format. Do you agree with me that they are a welcome addition to the traditional conference programming?
